8090 Waterfall in the Spring

The original, commissioned in 1912, was a memorial to Sara Fay Sumner who was an active member and Sunday school teacher for 44 years at the First Reformed Church in Albany, New York. This scene employs the waterfall, one of the artist's favorite themes, and it flows with elegance. In his distinctive mosaic style, Louis Comfort Tiffany combines rich colors and elements of nature.
