TERMS OF SALE AND SHIPPING PROCEDURE FOR THE GLASSMASTERS RANGE
We are totally committed to providing the best possible service and to doing everything we can to ensure that our customers can buy from us with total peace of mind.
1. Payment in full has to be received by us before goods will be shipped. In the case of purchases online via PayPal this is automatic. If items are ordered by mail or ordered from overseas then we must be in receipt of cleared funds before we will initiate the shipping process. In the case of orders from outside the US the buyer is responsible for any customs duties which may be payable.
2. We have taken reasonable steps to ensure that each item we offer is accurately described and/or photographed and that approximate dimensions are provided. However, we understand that sometimes an item will not be exactly what was expected and therefore if, for any reason, a buyer wishes to return an item which was purchased from us then he or she may do so within 30 days of it having been received and we will refund the full purchase price, excluding the shipping and handling charge. In this case the cost of shipping the item back to us will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please note that, in the case of lamps, in order to qualify for a full refund they MUST be returned in the original box.
3. Sales Tax: If you are a resident of the State of New Jersey 6% sales tax will be applied to your purchase, excluding shipping and handling.
4. All products are shipped using UPS pre-approved packaging and breakages are a rare occurence. However, in the unlikely event that an item should arrive in damaged condition, the buyer should contact us as soon as possible so that arrangements can be made for it to be returned and a replacement sent, all at no cost to the buyer.
5. Provided an item is in stock it will normally be shipped within 3 working days of our receipt of the order. Shipping will generally be via UPS beginning in Richmond, VA and will usually take from 2-6 days. In the event that timing is critical, perhaps because the item is intended as a gift, then please call or email us before placing the order so that we can check availability and estimate the delivery date. 6. We have made a conscious decision not to collect or process bank and credit card information on our server and have chosen instead to use PayPal which provides a secure, easy and quick means of sending and receiving payments online. For those customers who are not familiar with it we have put together an about PayPal page.
7. Price promise: we do not promise always to have the lowest prices in the market. It is simply too difficult to keep track of what is happening from day to day. However, we will match any internet-advertised price and if you buy from us and see the same product advertised on the internet within 30 days of making your purchase let us know and we will refund the difference. In all cases the comparison must be between the delivered pricing, inclusive of all shipping and handling charges and excluding sales tax.
