8079 Waterlilies

Rather than use traditional window coverings in his client's homes, Frank Lloyd Wright often designed art glass windows that afforded privacy while providing a beautiful view from either side. Inspired by a drawing for a window that was never realized, this graceful design features stylized white flowers and lily pads floating on a pool of blue. Each piece is individually painted with transparent enamels, kiln-fired and framed in glaziers' lead. This stained glass panel has been developed in association with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. It comes with a metal plaque indicating certification by the Foundation and includes Mr. Wright's signature.
