8067 Martin House detail

The Darwin D. Martin House, build in 1904 in Buffalo, New York, was one of Mr. Wright's most significant early commissions. This panel is adapted from a stained glass panel designed specifically for this house. Mr. Wright, who died in 1959, is recognized as one of America's greatest architects for his rectilinear design in architecture and furnishings. The original Martin House Panel is now owned by the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and this miniature reproduction was developed in association with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. The Foundation authorized the use of Mr. Wright's signature for the reproduction.
