In 1912, Frank Lloyd Wright designed a school and playhouse for clients Avery and Queene Ferry Coonley, progressive educational advocates, especially for programs for young children. Called a playhouse because of the performance stage, Wright's building boasted abstract designs of balloons and confetti, recalling a patriotic, American parade. This Frank Lloyd Wright Collection product is authorized by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, Taliesin West, Scottsdale, Arizona.
